Are you ready for a transformative experience grounded in history and science?

I work with you to create the perfect bespoke sensory experience for your next corporate event, family reunion, party, or intimate date night. I work with distributors curating flight kits with my hand-picked favorites.

Let me introduce you to a new way to enjoy the age-old pour.

MY MISSION

With The Pour, I’ll take the mystery out of understanding and enjoying whiskey.

“My tastings delight the senses with carefully curated and sought-after bottles from around the world with zero pretense.”

I got my start in whiskey as a tour guide at Kings County Distillery, the oldest distillery in New York City. I'm a journalist and love doing deep dives into prohibition, the science of blooming, the perceptions of taste and smell, American history, and women who whiskey. At Kings, I learned about the process of distillation, aging, and blending. It was there that I became a Bourbon Steward and during the first Covid lockdowns, I conducted virtual tastings on Zoom. After two years, I moved on to work at Great Jones Distilling Co., the first whiskey distillery in Manhattan since prohibition. There I guided guests through the distillery and flights of whiskey.

I founded The Pour With Lisa to bring my own unique take on the modern whiskey tasting to a larger audience.

I worked with the client on this peaty flight sourced from his own collection and a local shop.

I loved this casual five flight evening.

The Pour’s first event was at New York City’s Harvard Club in February of 2023.
